Media | -FM Radio with RDS -Walkman player 3.0 The Sony Ericsson C902 is a mobile phone released during the second quarter of 2008. The phone is the first in Sony Ericsson's new 'Cyber-shot' C-series of phones, along with the Sony Ericsson C702. With a 5.0 megapixel camera, with features such as BestPic, autofocus and face detection, it is set to be the new camera-focused series. It is available in the colours of "Luscious Red" and "Swift Black". In the United Kingdom, the Luscious Red colour is available only on the Vodafone network. The C902 is featured in the James Bond film, Quantum of Solace. The phone will be available in a rare titanium silver color and will include a 2GB M2 memory card preloaded with several James Bond media. DesignThe phone was designed to be a successor to the popular K800i and the K850[1]. Sony Ericsson released the C902 with a much slimmer and lighter metal enclosure, a more robust joystick and a more durable camera slider. These features seemed to address the main problems with the K850. [edit] Market reactionThe C902 has been praised for its user interface[1] design and its build quality[2]. Analysts do not expect it to reach the same level of popularity or sales as its predecessor, the K800i, because it's not intended to be a "flagship model"[3]. |
